Identity
Passport (all pages, self-attested); OCI / PIO card (if applicable); NRI status proof (visa / residence permit / employment contract).
Address
Overseas residence proof (utility bill, bank statement, tenancy agreement — not older than 3 months). Indian correspondence address (optional).
Financial
Latest 6 months salary slips OR last 2 years ITR (for self-employed). Bank statements — last 6 months of both Indian and overseas accounts. NRE / NRO account details.
Employment
Employment contract or offer letter, employer's HR letter confirming continued employment, business ownership documents (for entrepreneurs).
For Home Loan
In addition to the above — PAN card, Aadhaar (if applicable), Form 60 (if no PAN), 2 recent passport-size photographs, credit report from CIBIL / overseas credit bureau.
For POA Execution
Draft SPA, notarised or consulate-executed original SPA, POA holder's identity + address proof, signatory's identity + address proof.
Post-Sale
Retain — Agreement for Sale, Sale Deed, Loan Sanction Letter, Bank Foreign Inward Remittance Certificates (FIRC), tax challans, stamp duty receipts.
